Swami Parmanand Ashram, Haridwar and Kankhal, was established in 1960 by the revered Swami ji, grandfather of Shri Anil Verma, Vice-President of Seth Nand Lal Bajaj Educational and Charitable Society, Lalru. This society has established the Swami Parmanand Group of colleges in 2004 at Jaulan Kalan (Lalru) in the loving memory ofSwami Parmanand ji. For those students belonging to nearby areas and who prefer to stay with their family or guardians, transportation facility has been made available from the nearby places which include: Chandigarh, Panchkula, Ambala, Patiala and Kharar. Since the safety of the students is paramount, the buses that ply the students to the mentioned areas are being run by the colleges themselves.
