Sports Activities

Sports are an integral part of any education system. It is a common saying that 'All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy.' Keeping this in mind, we have made available the facilities for various outdoor and indoor sports which include cricket, volleyball, chess, carom, badminton, athletics, gymnastics etc. in the college premesis. In addition to the provisions made available for various sports, the college also organises varous tournaments on a regular basis for the students as well as for the staff. Playing different sports not only helps the students and faculty remain fit and healthy, it also helps in increasing the interaction level among them as it provides the students an opportunity for practical learning, which is indispensable along with classroom teaching.

The colleges have also formed various teams for different sports and we encourage our students to come and participate in the same with full enthusiasm not only at college level, but at Inter-College and other levels too. With the passage of time, more and more infrastructure is being provided to the students and efforts are being made to get participation of the maximum so that we can focus on the overall growth of a student, which would be incomplete without co-curricular activities.
