MESSAGE FROM THE PRINCIPAL
Needless to say that a middle level manager, that is a Diploma Engineer, is a vital link between a manager and a worker. He has proved to be a real builder of modern India as he is executor of all projects at ground level. Non availability of qualified and competent Diploma Engineers in the region prompted the management of Seth Nand Lal Bajaj charitable & Educational Society, a pioneer in setting up Engineering Colleges like Haryana Engineering College at Jagadhari in 1998, which has a name for excellence in the state of Haryana & Swami Parmanand College of Engineering & Technology at Lalru in 2004, which has been awarded one of the best upcoming institute of the region, decided to setup a polytechnic college in neighbourhood of Engineering colleges in the same campus naming it as Swami Parmanand Polytechnic in the year 2007 with an aim to provide quality education at Diploma Level. The aim of the management stands well full filled as there is 100% placement of 1st Batch which stormed the market in the year 2010. The reason behind all this is the mission of management to develop excellent infrastructure in the form of computerized Library, well equipped Laboratories, Workshops and spacious buildings. After pushing out the first batch of student, the institution can well boast of to be a blend of professional and academic excellence with a commitment to impart quality education to the students to meet various challenges of professional life at National & International level. The management of the institute which is highly professional is all out to make this polytechnic as one of the model institutes of the region.

I welcome you to become a member of the big family known as Swami Parmanand Group of Colleges. This group was set up by Seth Nand Lal Bajaj Educational and Charitable Society. It was done with a noble aim to serve the nation by imparting quality technical education to its youth. The seed was sown in 2004 in the form of Swami Parmanand College of Engineering and Technology. Now it has grown up into a huge and sprawling tree. This Group of Colleges combines Swami Parmanand College of Engineering and Technology, Swami Parmanand Polytechnic and Swami Parmanand Engineering College. In this duration, this Group of Colleges has progressed leaps and bounds and has won many laurels such as the Indian Excellence Award and the International Achievements Award. Swami Parmanand College of Engineering and Technology was adjudged the “Best Upcoming Technical College in Punjab” by the Indian Achievers podium. Our trustee Sh. Y. K. Mittal received the Award for outstanding contribution and life time achievements towards Nation and worldwide from Global the Achievers Foundation on 30 Dec, 2010 at Bangkok, Thailand. I extend my heartiest congratulations to Mr. Y. K. Mittal and all concerned.
