Cultural & Co-curricular Activities

To enrich the interests of the students and to help them hone their inherent talents, the college keeps conducting various co-curricular and cultural activities at various levels. A number of clubs have been formed in the college and various other facilities have been made available for the students to provide them with a platform to excel in the same, some of which are as given below :-

• Cultural society - Organizes various debates, declamation, quiz contests, etc within the college as well as inter-college competitions.
• College magazine - A quarterly edition of the college's technical magazine, 'Spectrum' is published with contributions from the students as well as faculty members.
• ISTE - Under the aegis of ISTE Chapter, "Faculty Development Programme" was organized at SPGC. Eminent educationists from prominent colleges of northern region and faculty members of Swami Parmanand Group of Colleges interacted with each other in a ten day long development programme. This sharing of knowledge helped the faculty in enhancing their teaching skills.
• Renewable energy club - The ministry of non-conventional energy resources (MNES), Govt. of India has given sanction for the setting up of REC in our college. Students actively participate in various activities related to creating awareness for renewable energy technologies among the students and people at large as per the MNES guidelines.
• Dramatic club - conducts various activities such as plays, skits, singing, dance competitions etc. in which the students actively participate.

Other than these, we have the annual college event i.e. ELYSIUM in the month of April and Sports Meet in the month of February where the students show their creative talents and present cultural bonanza.

Various more activities like Workshops, Blood Donation Camps, Medical Check-up camps, Seminars, Paper Presentations, etc. are also conducted on a regular basis at SPGC.
